The project
Since I moved in the historical center of Brussels, I noticed that tourists were taking pictures of my apartment. Every day when I look through my window, I see them shooting the old architecture of my building with their electronic eyes.
During a year, I reversed the mirror and shot them using their own weapon. It is interesting to see how people interact with their smartphones, what position they take to get the best pictures, how brief it all is.

When I started, I didn’t realise that I was portraying Brussels too: through these 100 pictures, you see the weather lights and shadows, the crowd and the lonely people and also the diverse events Brussels hosts.

Today, I must be featuring on hundreds of people’s photographs all over the world.
But have they really seen me?
